Crossing the Red River into Oklahoma...

Missouri!!!

Indiana!

Obviously...

We've had a lot of new experiences in the past couple of weeks. I have yet to figure out how to post them. Our pictures are on our computer, but I'm not going to be using my computer. I have some on my camera, but am not sure how/where to save them so that I can post them.

Rest assured, we are doing well. We are filling out paperwork for a million things daily and will eventually have time for tourism or a walk or something. We did go grocery shopping, but that's about it.

VBS

The kids went to VBS for 4 days. Jacob was the dancing king...
(see our youtube videos!)
Jacob is now confused about "If zombies are not real then how did Jesus die and come back to life?"

Jacob has been practicing writing letters. On the fridge, he drew me a picture and wrote "a J so that you know that I did it and a J so that you know that it's for you." He also used a 4 magnet and a 31 magnet (our ages) in case I became confused.

Cook Family Reunion

Here are my pictures from the 2009 Cook family reunion:

There are none. I forgot to put the memory card in the camera before we left.

Things there should have been pictures of:

*Jacob playing with ravenous pack of four year old boys
*Four Generations: Gram, Dad, Aunt Paula, Jessica, Jacob and Ella
*Us swiming in the warm water at the hotel
*The amazing spread of barbeque and all the fixins
*The dramatic clouds as we drove home

We drove to Big Spring on Friday, stayed the night, then drove onto Stanton Saturday morning. This year's reunion was held at a Baptist church camp due to a Baptist bride wanting to have a dance at her reception. The Cooks already had the Methodist church booked, so the parents of the bride asked if they could trade locations. As there was no dancing scheduled for the Cook reunion, it was no problem. There were about four 4 year old boys, Ella, and a baby girl in the great-grandkids.
